This may be specific to the UK but we need to be able to store more information on the customer and address:
Middle Name (rarely used on stores)
Address Line 1
Address Line 2
Address Line 3 (missing - this isn't always needed)
County (missing - needed)
It would be nice if instead of showing "null" in the list of baskets if it showed the id (or similar) so users can refer to the basket i.e. "Basket-180" or similar.
This way, when they are referring to them in house it will make it easier to "find" a basket1 vote
We are working on Project LUX, our new UI for the back-end, part of that project will introduce webservices to support the UX. The services should also be usable for other clients and the potentially the front-end website as well.
Our tax system is called GST, need to be able to set this somewhere, and have it displayed especially throughout the admin section10 votes
A new type of category, which populates with products based on an expression, ie. a search. E.g. you could create a category, which lists all products created in the latest month, a category with products with in a certain price range, and so forth.1 vote
Should be possible to sort catalogs in the same manner as categories.2 votes
The Umbraco editor supports the use of shortcut keys for some common functionality, like Ctrl+S for "Save". Would be nice to have this support in uCommerce also.13 votes
Having Google Analytics e-Commerce Tracking is absolutely essential to run a webshop intelligently.
Would be nice to have a macro or something for it that you can insert on the order reciept page.66 votes
Doesn't look like a data types display name is in the XML that CommerceLibrary:GetProduct() outputs, only the data types value is there.
Either both the value and DisplayName should be present in the XML, or the XSLT Extension should have some sort of GetProductProperty(id,name) method.1 vote
As the backend is becoming more and more extensible, I find myself constantly running into problems either trying to figure out and reuse the uCommerce CSS, or integrating bootstrap and then having to override any conflicts between bootstrap and uCommerce's CSS. The HTML/CSS in the backend is looking somewhat tired and bloated nowadays - I think it would be extremely useful to build it using a framework such at bootstrap so that developers can easily extend the UI and make the process of building shareable apps much easier and more compatible.0 votes
Great feedback, Al!
We are in fact rebuilding the backend at the moment. Everything will be based on Angular 2 and the HTML will be tidied up in the process. No ETA on release, but it is actively being worked on at the moment.
